JAPANESE STRAIGHTENING

Are you tired of dealing with frizzy and unruly hair days? If you're looking for a lasting solution rather than a quick fix, our Japanese Straightening service is perfect for you.

Stop letting frustration hold you back!

We highly recommend an in-person consultation for this service to effectively evaluate hair health, porosity, and integrity and previous color or treatments. If unable to attend the in-person consultation before your appointment , a digital option may be available, though it does not guarantee the desired results. Therefore, a  50% non-refundable deposit will be required to be paid ahead of appointment if the results fall short of your expectations.

FAQ: JAPANESE STRAIGHTENING

Q: What is the cost of Japanese Straightening?

A: The starting price for my services is $700, with potential increases based on the density of the hair.

Q: Why is it priced this  way

A: The cost reflects the meticulous nature of the process and the high-quality products used, as improper application can cause serious damage to the hair. With my expertise in Japanese straightening since 2003, I’m recognized as a specialist in the Tri-County area.

Q: How does this differ from Brazilian or Keratin Blowouts?

A: This technique, also referred to as Thermal Reconditioning or thermal reconstruction, permanently alters the hair's DISULPHIDE bonds, straightening them through a chemical process.

Q: What results can I anticipate?

A: You can expect to achieve silky smooth hair that requires minimal effort to maintain the Japanese aesthetic in just a few minutes.

Q: Can I color my hair?

A:
You may color your hair, excluding highlights, within 7-14 days following the treatment.

Q: Can I highlight my hair?

A: Highlighting is subject to the discretion of the hair colorist and depends on the condition of the hair, which must be carefully protected to prevent further damage.

Q: Can I still curl my hair afterward?

A: Yes, you can still curl your hair; however, it may require additional effort to achieve the desired curls.

Q: How long should I wait before shampooing?

A: It is recommended to wait 48-72 hours before shampooing or wetting your hair.
